PAINTINGS
PAINTED MASTER PIECES
Would you love to have a one of a kind, painted portrait of yourself or your child? I would be honored to work with you to make that happen. Things that we will consider will be:
YOUR STORY: Over a relaxing cup of coffee, I want to learn all about you or your child to find out what story you want the masterpiece to portray. What a treasured heirloom we will create!DRESSING THE SUBJECT: We will discuss colors and fabrics and make sure that the attire will complimentary to the subject and will fit the style of the portrait.
CHOOSING A LOCATION: We will determine if studio or on location would be best suited for the portrait.
PROPS: Usually props should be minimal so the focus remains on the subject, however, sometimes a prop that is special to the subject can add to the meaning of the image.
STYLIZING THE SCENE: We will collaborate to make sure the subject fits in the scene and the image will compliment the room where it will be displayed.
Contact me if interested and we can talk about your vision and the price.
SESSION FOR ONE PERSON
Before all sessions, we will have a consultation to plan for a successful outcome. Clothing is so very important, it needs to compliment the subject and coordinate with the chosen background of the image. It is important to know where your portrait will hang in your home. When creating your image, we need to consider which orientation will better fit the space. It's also important for the images to coordinate with the color scheme of the space where it will be displayed. Does the subject of the image have any personal objects that will help tell their story?
These images will be a treasured family heirloom. Let me help you create something timeless and beautiful.
SESSION FEE: Session fees begin at $300 (plus tax) for one person. This amount includes a $200 print credit. An additional $25 will be added for each additional subject in the image. This covers the planning of the session, the actual session, the preparation of images before the sales presentation, the presentation, and the time to "polish" the images before they are sent to the lab for printing.
Payment is required to hold your session date.
I have had a lot of experience working with children having had three of my own. I also working in elementary schools for over 25 years. I love capturing the ever-changing children as they grow. Let me help you savor these milestones.
Patience is my middle name. I will work with your child, no matter how difficult they may be on the day of the session, and will capture something memorable for you to treasure.
NEWBORN SESSIONS
NEWBORN SESSIONS start at $350 which includes a $150 print credit.
Let's get started! Contact Natural images and ask for more detailed information. Then we can begin planning your session to create images that will make you happy and will fit your needs. Be thinking about where and how you would like to display your images. What colors make you happy and will compliment your home decor if you are planning on wall art? Or, if your wall space is limited, perhaps an album would better suit your needs. I recommend that you contact me at the beginning of your third trimester. We can schedule a tentative date and I can start working on customizing your session.

Session Fee: $200 plus tax (Includes digital files of one image)
Let me help you put your best foot forward. Usually, your headshot is the first point of contact with a potential client. First impressions are very important. Let's collaborate to make you look your very best. Here are some tips:
- Wear long sleeves.
- Dark, solid colors are best.
- Choose colors that compliment your skin tones.
- Make sure that your attire matches your profession.
- For women, don't book a session immediately after a haircut.
- If you color your hair, make sure your roots are not showing.
- Jewelry can compliment you or overpower you and completely steal the show.
FAMILIES
DECIDE ON A REWARD: Sometimes a little bribery is necessary to make sure things go smoothly during your session. Pick a reward beforehand that you would be comfortable following through with after the session.
ENSURE EVERYONE IS WELL-FED AND RESTED
WHAT TO WEAR: the goal of good portraiture is to direct the viewer's eye to the subjects' faces. All other elements should be secondary. Not sure what to wear during a family session? Be timeless. We suggest simple clothing with a timeless cut and style. Long sleeves work best for most portraits, taking attention away from the arms and keeping it on the faces and expressions. Jeans can be timeless and casual. Darker clothing recedes in the image and can appear slimming.
COLOR & STYLE: Instead of looking for top-to-bottom looks for everyone in your family, decide on a color scheme that works for all. Different hues of the same color family or complementary colors work great together. Ideally, keep your clothing selection within the same style (dressy, casual, sporty, etc.) For a soft, timeless look, choose neutral colors in classic styles. Busy patterns can detract from the portrait.
TRY THIS: Lay out everyone's clothing together in the room where your portrait will live. Replace outfits and additional accessories until you achieve a fresh exciting look for that room.
